A private villa experience – Kayumanis (Nusa Dua)

Bali wouldn’t be complete without the villa experience, we decided to check out of Courtyard (read about the experience here!) after two nights.

Previously in my trip preparation, Kayumanis popped out in my search on Agoda and the reviews seemed pretty positive. The pictures and description promised a little zen, privacy, and some personalised services. I would say Kayumanis delivered the promises! Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetFrom the arrangement of transport back to airport, I found that the staff responded fast. When we were at the villa, everything was taken care of (massage, hi-tea, breakfast). Although there were mosquitoes, the staff lit coils for us and showed us around the villa (including the all-natural insect repellent that I fell in love with). The villa was absolutely private. If you needed anything, just dial for your butler (who’s on standby for 24 hours). Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetEntrance to the villa: are you ready for a tour? 🙂

We wanted breakfast by the pool so we had to shift some furniture around 😛 It was a sumptuous breakfast, the truffle scrambled eggs were so full of flavour, the mee goreng was comforting. All the bread in the bread basket were freshly toasted & crispy. There were juices and coffee or tea for both of us. We really enjoyed ourselves! Yums! joojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_breakfast_in_villa_2joojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_truffle_scrambled_eggs_salmonjoojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_mee_gorengjoojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_latte

A visitor came by twice in the morning that we were swimming. It ran along the wall which separated the pool and the wash-up area. joojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_squirrel_1

The weather was so brilliant, and the squirrel came out to play 🙂 joojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_squirrel_2

It was a pleasant walk to the private beach front, and the view was splendid. joojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_to_the_beachjoojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_private_beach_frontjoojourneys_bali_Kayumanis_selfieWhat you spend: $370 per villa per night, inclusive of airport transfer, hi-tea, breakfast and complimentary 30-minute massage.
