Far East’s doing a decent job with revitalising hotels and making them into staycation venues in the recent years.
Quincy, has received many positive reviews and I was keen to find out for myself and I got myself and the boy checked in for his early birthday celebration last November.
We were slightly early, so the staff got us seated at the cafe first, before checking us in at 2pm. A room without carpet, a first indeed. My feet felt really cold though!
High ceiling, a slightly corporate feel but rather cosy I would say 🙂 Loved how the afternoon sun streamed into the room. A simple bathroom, with molten brown toiletries 🙂 Cupcakes baking class was part of the stay cation programme, probably an easy activity for couples to complete a task together. A stone’s throw away from Paragon. You could catch a movie in town, do some shopping or hit the pool / gym at your convenience. Roof-top swimming pool which gives you a view of Goodwood Park Hotel and Far East Plaza. I’m loving it. Food was a little less exciting than expected and I do really hope that this can be improved, but the Tiramisu birthday dessert (by Modesto’s) for the boy was awesome, even though he couldn’t have too much of it, so I had most of it instead 😛
